Consultancy for the Provision of Geotechnical, Land Survey, and Design Services –Riverside Protection

C.B. & Associates Inc. provided geotechnical investigation services for the purpose of establishing representative geotechnical parameters to be used in the shore protection design at Belle Vue, East Bank Berbice. The subsurface investigation consisted of Three (3) Cone Penetration Tests (CPT) and One (1) Standard Penetration Test (SPT) to a maximum depth of 35m or refusal, whichever occurs first. CBA also conducted Topographic and hydrographic surveys. The findings of the geotechnical investigation and the detailed surveys were used to design a steel sheet pile wall and a gabion mattress protection. The project was successfully delivered within the time frame and contract sum.
